BADOS EARTHLING:
Started off as a street art performance project. He was just an average ordinary, everyday kind of guy from the year 2063. He was a time traveller, sent back to the years 2010 to 2013.
Bados did public street art performance interventions in the lane ways of Melbourne. Interacting with the public to create a live type of comic book performance.
Making performance art around social & political issues of the time. It was labelled Performance Graffiti.
He performed at 2 street art festivals in Melbourne & Adelaide Street Dreams & Sweet Streets. This aspect of Bados Earthling was a collaboration with fellow Stencil artist Tammo Winkler
He also collaborated with musician Wade Saliba pseudonym Wild Audio Society.
Bados was invited to perform in the online performance arts festivals in the U.S.A. LowLives Occupy in 2012.
It was steamed live from my lounge room to The Hemispheric Institute in New York, but it was also steamed to 13 other galleries around the world including the Utah Museum of Fine Art.
We then did another live performance for the same festival Low Lives 4 later that year.
At the Utah Museum of Fine Art. that was streamed live to 25 other galleries around the world. Bados continued the musical collaboration for another year with Wade. Performing in under ground and band venues as a live electronic musical art act, finally recording and writing a Electronic opera TH+E [Trans Human Experience] it was never performed in its completed state.

SIRIL FREEDOM:
Was born out of the world longest lockdowns in Melbourne. He was an activist character satirising the government overreach during the Covid Pandemic. Siril was about pro choice and would go to multiple freedom and anti lockdowns rallies, in Melbourne and 1 in Canberra. Through out 2021/2022. The public performance interventions started off as simply dressing up as multiple characters, but then I started incorporating my theatre/comedy background and started scripting it and writing songs.
From this I turned the material into a satirical rock comedy called
NEW WORLD FREEDOM! Satirising the freedom movement and the government and media during the pandemic
Its was performed with 2 shows in 2023 at Club Voltaire, in North Melbourne. it has only been performed 3 times to a live audience to date.
BELOW ARE SOME OF THE CHARACTORS FROM NEW WORLD FREEDOM! THESE AND OTHERS WERE ORIGINALLY PERFORMED AT ANTI LOCKDOWN RALLIES ACROSS MELBOURNE 2021 to 2022

BADEN JOHNSON: PAST PERFORMANCE EXPERIMENTAL/COMEDY/STREET THEATRE BASED WORKS.
Baden Johnson since the early 1990’s, has collaborated with other artists.
I have always had a passion for theatre and other forms of performance.
I studied drama/music and media studies in high school. Participating in school musicals in 1988. Before leaving to study Art & Design at RMIT TAFE in 1989.
Live performance AC/DC Lane Melbourne. New Epoch Notation Painting. 2017
Palm Plaza, Dandenong. 2009.
EXTENDED VISION:
My first collaboration was in 1992 to 1993 I joined Extended Vison with brothers Phillip & Euan Graham. Extended Vision was a performance art troupe. Who painted live group interactive paintings called New Epoch Action Painting. Developed by there father Peter Benjamin Graham. N.E.A. is a visual notation system, to create abstract paintings, to be painted live in front of an audience, which can be solo, duets, trio or quartet.
In the past 30 years we have done several reunions through live performances and exhibitions and street art.

After my departure in 1993 I went on to take elements of N.E.A. principles and incorporated my love of theatre and comedy. I became involved in St Martin’s Youth Arts Centre. I participated in short courses in theatre production and directing and started to develop a Live show incorporating visual art, comedy and physical theatre.
Between 1993 to 1996 I performed in many Fringe festival and stand up comedy venues. Including the 1995 Melbourne international comedy Festival, in a show called Mixed Bag at the Melbourne Town Hall.

BADENS’S ART CARAVAN:
Was created as a mobile studio when I moved my family out of the suburbs to the Bass Coast region in Victoria in 2019. It was to be a performance based around a travelling artist in an old 1970’s rambler caravan. I was going to take it to markets and public events, to sell my new landscape paintings based around my travels, whilst playing an Aussie larakin. he was short lived due to the pandemic.
